If you are eager to become independent of drugs, you should decide once and forever - never use them. Sometimes drug addicts agree to take treatment only for their parents' sake but they hope they can enjoy drugs again sometimes. It's not strong will but rather strong desire you need to overcome this sin. Later you are to learn a new way of life and we are ready to help you. We believe that a man alone is unlikely to do away with the sin and only God can give him power to conquer it. So religious life is part of our programme. We think drug addiction is an illness of one's soul and the church is sort of hospital for souls. Monasteries are particularly good for the purpose as life in them is well organized, one can learn here to be a Christian, can often attend services, confess and take the Holy Misteries. All these help to attain tranquility and solve psychological problems.
Special services are held for those who want to get rid of drug addiction. If one is willing he can give promise in the church not to use drugs or smoke cigarettes or consume alcohol. We invite everyone who wants to change his life.
